Your most loved creation that you are the sole creator of will be displayed in THE ART GALLERY. But before it will be displayed for all to view and appreciate it will undergo a tough scanner. The curators, the best in their discipline will give the final judgement on the art for the Art Gallery Exhibition. Jury & Selectors
Mr. Dhimant Vyas
He is a veteran Animation Film Designer. currently worked on Shaun the sheep series two and Purple & Brown with multiple Academy Award winning Animation Studio – Aardaman Animation Ltd U.K. Dhimant Vyas is an alumnus of the National Institute of Design (NID) His previous work includes the title animation sequence for the highly acclaimed Hindi feature film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, which was directed by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. During an earlier stint at Aardman Animation Ltd. Dhimant has worked as an animator on the Creature Comforts USA TV series. He has worked with brands like BBC, UNICEF, FCB ULKA, Zee TV, MTV, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, to name just a few. His work for Taare Zameen Par, Happy Planet, Cute Bunny, Y-snore, MTV promos and his photography have won him several national and international awards. He has a vast experience in creating animation using various techniques like Stop Motion, 2D Classical, Cut Out, Material, Sand, Pixilation and Flash.
Mr. Shyam Sriram
Shyam started his art career by working as an Inbetweener at UTV Toons, Mumbai. After working there for few months, he left the job and started working as a full time freelance illustrator and worked for few ad agencies and magazines like Chip, Digit, PC World. After few years, he met few people from animation industry at CG Tantra meet at Bangalore. He later joined Anirights (Big Animation) as a Color key artist/ Matte painter. Since one year, he is creating Matte Paintings for ‘The Clone Wars’ TV show at Lucasfilm Animation, Singapore. In his free time, he keeps himself busy in practicing the Fine Art in Digital as well as Traditional medias.
Mr Vijay Raut
Vijay Raut is the Owner of The College of Animation Engineering and Research Center. He started his Career from 1987 as an Illustrator with Rediffusion Advertising Agency in Mumbai. He as well as worked as illustrator and Creative Consultant in many reputed Ad agencies in India and now he has been working with eminent personalities in Animation from last two decades. He has been the President of The Bombay Art Society and has many awards and honors to his profile including Animated short film – ‘Beauty & The Beast’ (Director), he was nominated at IFFA Awards,2002., he was nominated for The Best Realistic Painting Award – The Bombay Art Society,2002, Stage shows for Animation Awareness,’The Animators’.2004 , Best 3D Film in Open Category, 24 FPS International Film Festival,2007. He was Honored with ‘Chandrakant Mandhre Award’, Kolhapur, Maharashtra in 2007.

- 1. Artworks created between May 2009 and April 2010 are eligible.
- 2. Participants/Companies may enter multiple artworks.
- 3. The Dimensions of the Artwork should be more than 12″ X 18″ with 300dpi. File Format: TIFF
- 4. You must be the owner of the content. If it is a Professional/Company entry, you should be authorized to submit the entry.
- 5. By entering the contest, you guarantee that the entry submitted is your original work and does not infringe the copyrights or the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- 6. Entrants are responsible for providing correct information in the correct format and submitting in the proper category.
- 7. Joint/team submissions are allowed.
- 8. By submitting your entry, you allow CGTantra to use complete or part of the entry for promotional usage.
- 9. CGTantra reserves the rights to disqualify entries of the entrants found to be influencing, manipulating or tampering with the submission or selection process, providing false information or violating these terms and conditions.
- 10. Only nominees will be provided invitations to the Awards Ceremony.
